To help frontline personnel master LHD maintenance and repair skills, and to strengthen the safe operation of equipment, FAMBITION tailored a specialized training program based on customer needs. The program was successfully completed, empowering mining operations with professional support for sustainable performance.

Targeted Approach: Customized Training Program

The training precisely addressed customer production requirements, focusing on full lifecycle maintenance of LHDs. It targeted both equipment operators and maintenance personnel, with 20 trainees divided into two groups for a 7-day course to ensure orderly progress.

FAMBITION adopted a diversified “theory + hands-on practice + physical comparison + assessment” approach, overcoming the limitations of purely theoretical teaching and ensuring practical skills application. Prior to the training, the company coordinated the practice site and clarified safety supervision responsibilities, implementing comprehensive measures to guarantee smooth execution.

Hands-On Learning: Strengthening Core Maintenance Skills

FAMBITION’s instructor team delivered step-by-step training covering the entire LHD maintenance process, enabling trainees to progress from understanding theory to mastering practical operation.

At the start, trainees visited the factory assembly site to learn about the factory overview, safety regulations, equipment components, manufacturing processes, and key hydraulic and electrical parts. Product quality inspection and testing procedures were also explained, helping trainees quickly gain an overall understanding of the equipment and appreciate the technical strength behind its quality.

During classroom sessions, instructors provided systematic theoretical instruction covering company introduction, equipment operation and maintenance, hydraulic, electrical, and power systems. Safety guidelines, equipment configuration, operating procedures, and common fault diagnosis and repair points were thoroughly explained. Case studies were used to clarify complex topics, making professional knowledge easier to understand and apply.

In the outdoor practical sessions, instructors guided trainees one-on-one to identify equipment components, confirm safety device locations, and perform startup checks, integrating classroom theory with hands-on practice. This approach ensured trainees mastered operational skills and overcame maintenance challenges, achieving the training goal of “operate, maintain, and repair.”

At the end of the training, theoretical assessments verified learning outcomes, ensuring all trainees gained practical skills they could apply immediately.

After seven days of training, all trainees significantly improved their professional skills and safety awareness. They are now proficient in basic LHD operation procedures, safety standards, daily maintenance, and preliminary fault diagnosis. They also gained a deeper understanding of equipment structure and core systems, enabling them to independently handle routine maintenance and basic repairs.

All trainees participated in assessments, achieving high overall pass rates and meeting training objectives. Safety education was integrated throughout, enhancing trainees’ awareness and emergency response capabilities, providing a solid talent foundation for safe and efficient equipment operation. This successful training also strengthened the foundation for ongoing cooperation.
