On July 3, 2026, the Seminar on Intelligent Equipment and Green Autonomous Mining Technologies for Deep Metal Mines was successfully held in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
Focusing on key industry topics such as technological innovation in deep mining, upgrading of intelligent complete equipment solutions, and the comprehensive development of green and autonomous mines, the seminar gathered more than 100 industry professionals from over 20 organizations, including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, experts from industry design institutes, and leading mining enterprises in China.
Together, participants discussed solutions for the green and low-carbon transformation of the mining industry and explored new approaches for intelligent and efficient mining, contributing to the high-quality transformation and upgrading of the mining sector.

During the opening ceremony, Susan, General Manager of FAMBITION, delivered a speech and extended a warm welcome to all attending guests, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives.
She stated that with the continuous improvement of standards for green, safe, and efficient mining operations, intelligent unmanned operation and green production have become inevitable trends in the development of the mining industry. The industry urgently needs to overcome challenges in deep mining through equipment innovation and technological breakthroughs.

Academician Feng Xiating of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, President of Northeastern University, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation titled “Intelligent Mining and Equipment for Deep Metal Mines.”
Based on the fundamental technologies and development principles of deep metal mining, Academician Feng provided a comprehensive outlook on the future direction and implementation pathways of intelligent and green mining, offering authoritative guidance for participating organizations.

Ning Xiaofeng, Chairman of FAMBITION, signed strategic cooperation agreements with organizations including Northeastern University, Shougang Group, and Longqiao Mining.
The cooperation covers areas such as joint research and development, procurement of complete sets of battery-powered LHD equipment, and implementation of underground remote-control driving systems. These collaborations have established a platform for deep innovation cooperation among universities, enterprises, and industry partners.

The seminar featured a strong academic atmosphere and in-depth discussions focused on practical industry challenges.
Academician Feng Xiating, the research team from Northeastern University, technical experts from major design institutes, and frontline mining specialists delivered keynote presentations and shared insights.
Focusing on the policy direction of green mine development and the trend of intelligent transformation in the mining industry, participants conducted extensive discussions on key topics including safety risk management in deep mining, large-scale application of underground autonomous mining technologies, optimization and upgrading of intelligent mining equipment, and transformation of low-carbon mining processes.
Combining advanced research theories, mining engineering cases, and frontline operational experience, participants analyzed technological challenges and development bottlenecks in the industry, while sharing mature innovative solutions and replicable practical experiences.
The discussions provided valuable theoretical references and practical guidance for equipment upgrades, technological innovation, and the implementation of intelligent mining applications across the industry.

The successful organization of this seminar has established a platform for technology exchange, experience sharing, and resource collaboration in the field of intelligent mining.
